My rant on manners.

The Young Democrats and Young Republicans had a meeting together today to discuss our Town Hall Meeting. And one of their members told us we were losers and trash and stupid and yada yada. He had been demeaning us the whole time we were all there today and yesterday too. Plus the leaders wife basically told me my mum was stupid. Our group was forced to do all the work on the posters and then made to pass out flyers too. Then the leader's wife said my posters were bad. I know I'm not the best artist in the world but I know for a fact they weren't bad! Also they should have no right on how we do things anyway because only 2 out of 18 of their members ever even show up. I get that we have different views and all but there is no excuse to be rude to everyone. I am a person first and foremost. Judge me not by the party I choose but the contents of who I am. I am more than a democrat aand I do not believe in every stereotypical view and I don't need to be treated than less than a person for my beliefs. I was a person before I became a democrat and I am still a person. I do not treat others with disrespect. I am always polite and treat people with the intent of making them feel good. I never degrade anyone, point out their faults, or claim such disgrace upon someone's name. Manners is something I learned when I was young and maybe it's weird but I intend on abiding by the lessons my mother and Grammie bestowed upon me. I was not raised to act like a disrespectful hateful person. However I am not one to sit idly by and just accept abuse from someone I don't even particularly like for that matter. I am not easily angered but I can admit that I am quite peeved at this. I will voice my oppinions. I don't mind if anyone disagrees with me but I enjoy it if someone actually listens to me when I speak. You may not find my theories ideal for you, but they are important to me. I'm sorry I'm ranting. But as you can see I'm a bit angry.

So the school year is over.

Another year of school down the drain. Next year I'll be a senior. : / That depressing. I miss my friends that graduated already. =T.T= And next year when I graduate I will probably never see my friends ever again. . . .. Heck I may not see my friends after this summer honestly. My family may move back to Florida and I'll have my senior year at a new school where I only know my cousins. XP Well at least I'll be back at home at last right? . . . ugh. I love you Reed you've been an awsome teacher and you're an awsome Person. I'm really going to miss this class.

If I could change something in the world.

Well I'm finally able to write this. And I realized, if I could change anything in the world it's be that people would be more open minded. I'm so sick of listening to people trying to convert each other to their religion and condemning people to Hell. Why can't we all just get along. That's a phrase often said. And it's true, why can't we all just get along? Who knows really . . .. I know that will most likely never happen and if it does it won't happen any time soon. But I can hope right?

Congress passed a law that says Pedophiles can sue for hate crime but Veterans cannot sue for hate crime.

I've actually never heard of anyone harming a Veteran over them being a Veteran. However I do believe Pedophiles should be allowed to sue for hate crimes because people do do horrible things to people when they find out they were convicted of being a pedophile. Not to say I'm condoning what they did or anything but yeah. But anyway if the Veterans are being hurt over being a Veteran then yes they too should be able to declare hate crime as well.

England has made a list of certain people to be banned from entering. Who should be banned from the U.S.A.

Well in my opinion I think everyone should have the opprotunity to come to America. Who am I to decide who is good enough to be here or not? America is suposedly based on equality so why not let everyone have the equal right to join our country.

My week so far.

So far my week has been pretty good I supose. It's been tiring I'll admit that though. I've actually almost been at school 3 weeks in a row. =^^= Kind of sad that I'm proud of that isn't it? XP

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

If I had the opprotunity to make one significant change to thte world what would I do?

Well I would do many things but right now I'm am kind of infuriated or sad. I can' determine which, I guess it's mixed emotions. I will write this blog later when I can think better.

The Drinking age 21-18 my thoughts.

Well in my thoughts I don't think it would be bad really. I mean if 18 is the age where you are mature and old enough to decide if you'd like to fight for your country, then you must be mature enough to know if you can handle alcohol or not. Everyone is always focusing on underage drunk driving but if you were drunk and killed someone, what does it matter how old you are?

News.

I may be returning back home! :D My dad randomly showed up in my front yard the other day. Which mind you I haven't seen the man since I was 4 years old. : / So that was reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly awkward for me. But anyway, he showed up and talked with my mum for a while. Apparently he popped up to offer my mum the property we had bought when I was little in Ocala. *does happy dance* So we may be moving back home! But even if we don't we can still go down and visit. All I can say is thank God for every miracle even the small ones.

My weekend ahead.

My weekend ahead. Surprise it won't be exciting. But it may be fun. I'm going out to dinner and seeing a movie with my friends instead of going to prom. We are all going to dress up in what we would have worn to prom when we do it. Yes because we're weird geeks like that. We are all arguing on what to see though so who knows. Levi and Brea want to see Ghosts of Girlfriends past. I don't want to pay money to see a sappy, boring, chick flick. XP Tyler and I want to see A Haunting in Connecticut, because we've heard it's pretty good. And Danielle and Travis and I want to see Wolverine. So I'm pretty much happy with 2 out of the 3 choices.

Things besides school I wish I were doing right now.

What I would rather be doing than being in school. Well the main thing I'd like to be doing instead of being in school is talking to the awsomest person in the universe. :) Other than that, well I guess hang out with my friends and be stupid like usual. Or sleep . . . maybe. Reading books would be fun, or being my geeky self and watch anime, read manga, or play video games. I'd rather be trying to help a charity or clean up the environment. And apparently Chase wants to braid my hair, so sure why not that too. lol I'd also like to go swimming. Another big thing I'd love to be doing right now would have to be going home. I would go to the beach, go to the arcade, go to a museum, go to a planetarium, etc. etc.. If I were home I could do all that and so much more =T.T= But no sadly, I am stuck in West By God Virginia. XP

My opinion.

Last week Wood County Schools Board of Education approved a class for High School. The class is Bible Studies. I have absolutely no problem with this. If students want to take the class then they should be able to take it. However if it's mandatory I disagree. However I think that if they offer a Bible study, they should also offer classes for other religions. So why not just make the class a Religion education class. That way it's fair to everyone, and let's face it we all could use with learning some things about other people. That would be a good idea. It may cut down on the ignorance of other religions as well.

What is irritating me or making me happy presently . . .

As of right now, nothing is irritating me. I'm in a really good mood today. I'm not quite sure why. Maybe it's because it's a nice day. I actually slept a few hours last night. :D So I'm a tad hyper. =>.>= Also I'm happy because it's 6th period and I'm in this class. I love this class. So yeah . . .

Liars or thieves, my oppinion . . .

Frankly neither one is really good in my opinion. However if I had to choose I would choose the thief over the liar. I absolutely without a doubt cannot stand a liar. You can trust a thief because you know they're going to steal but you can never trust a liar because you can never know when they're are telling the truth. May sound strange but I would rather you steal something from me than tell me lies. I'm not a very trusting person to begin with, and when you lie to me I just find it disgusting and vile. So yeah.

well.

I got an extra week off from school since I was sick. I actually almost died last week. And it made me start to think about how the world would be if I were dead. : / Simply put it would keep on spining. The end. I'm always talking about how I'd like to be able to make even a small change in the world, even if was only to one person. But sadly I don't think I've done anything at all . . .. Oh well I guess . . .. That's life.

Spring Break.

Over my Spring Break. : / I will be doing absolutely nothing. Because I'm boring like that. : / Buuut . . . since you're making me blog it anyway I'm going to try to drawl this out for as long as I can! :P I will be breathing, pumping blood, sleeping, eating, showering, thinking, talking to the awsomest guy in the world, talking in general, blinking, typing, walking, waking up, talking, jumping, tapping, napping, maybe blogging, taking pictures, hearing, listening to music, being random, being lazy, playing video games, watching anime, drawing, colouring, writing, getting dressed, counting, chewing gum, putting on my glasses, play practice, scratching, biting, reading, making AMV's, editing pictures, watching the rain, watching the clouds, arguing, clicking the mouse, looking at the monitor, going on myspace, going on myyearbook, going on vampirerave, shooting, dancing, singing off key on purpose XD, petting my cats, petting my dog, feeding my fish, feeding my cats, feeding my dog, play guitar, trying to convince my computer it likes me, exploring, and I can't think of much else but don't tempt me I might. : / And tonight I am going to go see the new Dragon Ball movie. Which totally going to suck. =^^= But eh it's my childhood so who cares.

The Flag.

The Flag represents Freedom. Right? . . . Not to me. To me the Flag represents pain and misery. Even the Flag's colours can show what it hides. Red is the colour of the blood shed of the white, which represents the pure/innocent. Leaving the Blue to represent the many tears shed. This land tht we live on was never our own. It was taken! The people who did own it were killed and enslaved. My point being is, yes we have "Freedom" but at what cost? We've just been making ourselves bigger and stronger and taking advantage of people since the beginning . . .

Here Levi.

I've promised Levi I would blog about the day we went for a "run" out in Spring Valley. It started out as a jog to the pizza place for . . . I'm not actually sure why really. : / But we left the school and started walking towards it, dodging cars because the road has no sidewalk just ditchlines, and being cussed out and flipped off by dozens of our ever charming classmates. =-.-'= Well upon arriving to our dismay it was apparently closed down. =-.-'= So Jasmine had the bright idea to go the "Grocery Store" farther down the lane. I wasn't really informed where we were off to at that point but I followed anyway. On the way levi stepped on a dead cat. =;.;= The poor thing. =T.T= To which his reply was "Who puts a dead cat in a ditch?!" Which was a real head slapper for me and Jasmine. =-.-'= Walking onward Levi wanted to turn back and we saw a TTA bus coming, so Jasmine flagged him down. But me being the poor person that I am didn't have a dollar. : / So we didn't get on the bus. So when eventually getting there She found out it wasn't a Grocery Store but a bar. Which would have been known if she'd asked me. XP So of course we couldn't go in being minors and all. : / So then she got the idea that we would go to the Gas station even farther down the way. We got to the park when Levi decided he would refuse to go any further. So we turned around and started to head back to school. Jasmine looked at her watch and we realized we only had 6 minutes to get all the way back to the school. =-.-'= So Jasmine and I were trucking it back and Levi and walking very slowly behind so we stopped and waited for him =-.-'=. Now walking beside Levi we made our way back to the school. By this time we all had pretty much lost hope in getting back in time but on we went when Mrs. Back drove by randomly and said "Hey guys." For a minute we were stunned and just watched but then realized that she could have been help. : / So we jumped and shouted but on she drove . . .. So on we kept walking on. When we reached the Bar again the same bus saw us and asked us if we wanted to ride. Which is quite an uninteigent question if you ask me because he had just tried 2 pick us up 20 minutes or so earlier and we couldn't go. So we told him no thank and on he drove. So on we continued to walk. And that's when the ducks came. =o.o= They were sitting in the creek and I spotted them and said, "AWW. Look ducks. They're cute." =^_^= Then they swoomed in and attacked Levi. XD After the attack on we marched towards the school with the ever complaining Levi not wanting to shut up for anything. XP When Mr. Smith drove by and asked us if we wanted a ride. So happily we all hopped in and he took us back to school. =^_^=

10 Really EASY & INEXPENSIVE things we can all do.

Homes comprise 21% of our carbon emissions.
Transportation comprises 33% of our carbon emissions.
Business contributes 17% of carbon emissions.
Industry produces 29% of carbon emissions.
We can be more energy efficient, save money, & reduce carbon emissions.

1. Change your light bulbs to compact fluorescent lights (CFLs).

Replacements for 60W, 75W, & 100W bulbs are easily found. Walmart, Lowes, & Home Depot also carry spotlights and floodlights, but you may need to buy an adapter so they will fit. The adapters are very inexpensive. You can also change the old fluorescent tubing to CFL tubing, but you will need to change ballasts.

Replacing just one bulb will save 150 pounds of carbon dioxide a year. The life of a CFL is 5-7 years. CFLs do not emit heat as the incandescents do. They must be disposed of properly as they contain mercury. Home Depot will collect and dispose properly.Dimmer switches for CFLs can be found at Walmart.

Try solar for outdoor lighting. The lights are inexpensive and then they cost nothing to operate.

2. Turn down the thermostat on your hot water heater. Buy a hot water heater blanket. The blanket costs approximately $20, available at Home Depot or Lowes. You save both energy & money.

3. Turn your thermostat up 2 degrees in summer and turn it down 2 degrees in winter. Save on your utility bill.

4. Turn off lights as you leave a room. (Myth: It takes more energy to turn on & off lights than to leave them on for short periods of time.)

5. Turn off fans when you go out. (Myth: Fans cool your home.) Fans do not cool. Fans merely circulate air. You do feel 4 degrees cooler from the fan’s breeze.

6. Weatherstrip & caulk around doors and windows. Caulk holes around plumbing. Your home will be more energy efficient.

7. Recycle. This one is so easy. Every other week the City of Garland collects aluminum, plastic, & glass in the red bins. Newspapers and magazines are picked up at the same time. Every city has a program.

Many public schools are beginning recycling programs and involving the community.

8. Buy recycled products. Save our trees by purchasing recycled paper products, particularly copy paper, paper towels, & toilet paper. Shop Office Depot & Tom Thumb.

9. If you have a choice, avoid products with a lot of packaging. What a waste.

10. Vehicles:

Check the air in your tires. Keeping tires inflated properly can improve gas mileage by more than 3%. .

Don’t sit & idle. 10% of all our fuel is wasted on idling. After only 10 seconds, you use less gas to turn the ignition off.

Vehicles built in the last 3 years. Some newer model cars and trucks are compatible with ethanol. Check with your local dealership.

Spread the word. Encourage your friends & family.

Animals for food.

Living in America we expect to get the best of the best. When you can eat clean well taken care of food, you wouldn't eat dirty, sickly would you? The answer will always be a no. So you think when you eat a piece of meat, that it came from the finest taken care of animals, correct? When you think of the animals before they were sent to slaughter you think of happy cows wandering around in fields and such, right? Well actually this is all incorrect, sadly. The reality of how these animals are being taken care of before they are sent to their deaths is atrocious. Take Poultry for instance. In the United States, virtually all birds raised for food are factory farmed. Inside the densely populated buildings, where they are confined their entire lives, enormous amounts of waste accumulates. The resulting ammonia levels commonly cause painful burns to the birds' skin, eyes, and respiratory tracts. How would you feel living a life like that? Farmers also trim from a third to a half of the beaks off chickens, turkeys, and ducks to cut losses from poultry pecking each other." This causes severe pain for several weeks. Some, unable to eat after being debeaked, starve. Then there are laying hens. Laying hens are placed into cages less than half a square foot of floor space per bird. Because of this the some hens cannot move at all and die of asphyxiation or dehydration. Male chicks, of no economic value to the egg industry, are typically gassed or macerated (ground up alive). Maceration is becoming a common method for disposing of male chicks. Although hens can live more than 10 years, they’re killed after a year or two. As for pigs, pigs are also abused before being put to death for consumption. The pigs are put into little cages, that are so small they cannot even turn around in them. Farm workers have been known to have jammed the pigs with metal rods and slamming piglets onto the concrete ground. The slamming of the piglets is suposed to instantly kill the unhealthy piglets. But the piglets are not killed instantly, and are thrown into a bloodied pile, some piglets can be seen wiggling vainly. It's also been known that piglets are being castrated, and having their tails cut off, without anesthesia. Hogs are dunked in tanks of hot water after they are stunned to soften the hides for skinning. As a result, a botched slaughter condemns some hogs to being scalded and drowned.

Federal law requires that mammals be stunned prior to slaughter (exempting kosher and halal).

Common methods of stunning:
Captive bolt stunning - A “pistol” is set against the animal’s head and a metal rod is thrust into the brain.Shooting a struggling animal is difficult, and the rod often misses its mark.16

Electrical stunning - Current produces a grand mal seizure; then the throat is cut. According to industry consultant Temple Grandin, PhD, “Insufficient amperage can cause an animal to be paralyzed without losing sensibility.”

For ritual slaughter, animals are fully conscious when their carotid arteries are cut. This is supposed to cause unconsciousness within seconds, but because of blood flow through the vertebral arteries in the back of the neck, some animals can remain conscious as they bleed for up to a minute. There are some plants which use cruel methods of restraint such as hanging live animals upside down. This can cause broken bones as the heavy animal hangs by a chain attached to one leg.

In February of 2007, a Mercy For Animals (MFA) undercover investigator took a job at one of the largest poultry slaughter plants in the country. There he found workers:

Punching live animals for fun, Ripping eggs out of the hens’ cloacae to throw at other workers, Ripping the heads off of turkeys who had gotten their feet stuck in the transport truck cages, Throwing turkeys, Letting birds lie on the ground flapping in misery for hours at a time, Birds frequently mutilated by throat-cutting machines that didn’t work properly; one bird had her skin torn entirely off her chest.

From October 2003 to May 2004, an undercover investigator working for PETA, took footage at a Pilgrim’s Pride chicken slaughterhouse in Moorefield, West Virginia. Workers were filmed violently and repeatedly throwing live chickens into a wall, picking chickens up by their legs and swinging their heads into the floor, and kicking and jump up and down on live chickens.

On May 24, 2000, King5.com new service in Seattle, WA, broke a story about undercover footage taken at a nearby IBP slaughterhouse. According to their report, “The video shows fallen cows being trampled and dragged, others are tortured with electric prods. One cow has fallen and workers stick an electric prod on its head, then place the prod down its mouth. Still other cows are hung on chains, fully conscious, blinking and kicking. The worker who shot the tape said one cow was already at a station where legs are removed. ‘It would be horrible if someone were to cut off your leg without anesthesia.’”

These are horrible things! This is a Holocaust on defenseless animals! Would you turn your cheek so quickly if this was happening to dogs and cats instead?

My crazy Beliefs.

I have many crazy beliefs. I have a reason for each and every one of them as well, so I regret none of them.

Love: my thoughts on love are pretty simple yet complex. : / I believe in se after marriage. That is surprizingly rare nowadays. =o.o= Also I believe you shuldn't kiss anyone you aren't really in love with. Because when you kiss someone you give a ittle bit of your soul to that person. And do you realy want dozens f people running around aimiously trashing about with your soul? =o.o= I wouldn't . . ..

Luck: I absolutly do not believe in luck whatsoever. I believe in fate. Is something is meant to happen, it will. If it's not, it won't. Simple as that.

Time: Every single thing you do alters time. Every single thing weither if it seems so insignificant to you or not it means a great deal to the time line.

Religion: I believe that all religions may be correct in some shape or form. I mean come on if you haven't noticed most religions are a lot alike. And it just so happens that the people who practice them are so far away from each other. How is it that countries and such that have absolutly nothing to do with each other have some of the same ideas. So in my mind it leaad me to believe that maybe since they are alike maybe it's becaue it's true. Makes sense correct?

Capital Punishment: I am totally against Capital punishment. No one has the right to take the life of anyone. Why is it that we kill people, to show people, that killing people is wrong? Besides, do you know how much money is wasted on the whole proess behind the Death Penalty? It's immense.

Music: Do I believe musc sets your mood? Yes, I do.Do I believe it causes you to grafeeti walls, sacrafice lambs, or kill yourself? Of course not! That is the biggest load of rubbish I've ever heard. Everyone is so quick to jump and blame something popular.

Being Blunt: I believe that you should be straight forward with everyone. If you don't like a person why not just say so instead of saying nasty things behind their back. Because when you do that you're really just hurting yourself. Because everyone knows that if they'll talk about someone to you they'll talk about you to someone else. : /

And that's about it for now I may add more later. : /

are they really so different?

A major issue in America today is that of suspicion over the beliefs of the Islamic people. People are focusing on what they hear and not bothering to actually research the Islamic faith. So let's take a look at how different the Christian and Islamic are. This may surprise you. : /

Similarities::

Christianity:
1. The religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
2. The universe was created by God, out of nothing.
3. devided into different sects ex:) Baptist, Methodist, Catholic
4. Has only one God
5. A figure referred to as Antichrist or Satan will be defeated at the end of the world.
6. The Lord's Prayer
7. God has a unique relationship with humans.
8. At the end of the world, God will judge humans based on their actions in compliance with a moral code, specified in the Covenant which God makes with us.
9. This judgement will determine one's eternal abode, heaven or hell
10. Human beings have a soul which is eternal, continuing its existence after our physical death

Islam:
1. The religion based on the life and teachings of Muhammad.
2. The universe was created by God, out of nothing.
3. devided into different sects ex:) Sunni and Shite
4. Has only one God
5. A figure referred to as Antichrist or Satan will be defeated at the end of the world.
6. The Fateha

Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, the Compassionate, the Merciful. King of the Day of Reckoning.

The Lord's Prayer:
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The Fateha:
Thee only do we worship and of Thee only do we ask aid.

The Lord's Prayer:
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors [Other translations say: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."]
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the Kingdom,
The Power and the Glory.
For ever and ever.
Amen

The Fateha:
Guide us unto the right path -
the path of those to whom Thou hast
been gracious,
not the path of those who are the objects
of Thy wrath,
nor of those who have gone astray.
Amen

Differences::

Christianity:
1. Christians believe in the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)

2. Christians currently emphasize the beautiful aspects of God

3. As a member of the Trinity, Jesus is viewed as God Himself.

4. Christians believe that Jesus was crucified on a cross. Then rose from the dead.

5. Eschatology - most Christians believe that judgement takes place, immediately upon death (i.e. they will either go to Heaven or Hell, or as in the case of Catholics, they could also go to Purgatory immediately upon death). Christians also believe that the final Judgement Day is only for all those people who have not died yet and will be for those remaining on earth.

6. Christians believe in Original Sin, (all of mankind is held responsible for the sins of Adam and Eve) which only the sacrament of baptism in the name of Christ can expiate.

7. Christians believe in vicarious atonement -- that another person can extinguish the guilt incurred by another person's sins. Jesus is believed to have died so as to atone vicariously for man's sins. He was considered to be the Lamb of God, which means that Jesus was considered to be the perfect sacrifice by which the hold of Original Sin was broken. Christians believe in intercession and intercessors such as priests and monks.

8. Christians believe that divine inspiration (the Latin word is 'afflatus' which means 'divine wind') inspired the writers of the scripture. Hence they believe that the Gospel of St. Mark (obviously written by St. Mark) or the letters of Paul the Apostle are the "Word of God."

9. In the Old Testament (Jewish scriptures which most Christians regard as authoritative), Prophets are not portrayed as being infallible to say the least.

10.Prophets do not have the same stature in Christianity that they have in Islam

Islam:
1. Do not believe in the Trinity

2. God has informed us of only 99 of His beautiful names Many of them depict His beautiful aspects (jamal), and some of them depict His power, authority and grandeur (jalal).

3. Jesus is a Prophet and a servant of God. Muhammad is also a Prophet and a servant of God. He was the last Prophet sent by God to guide and teach mankind.

4. The Quranic teachings in this regard may be summed up as follows: (1) Christ was neither crucified nor killed by the Jews, notwithstanding certain apparent circumstances which produced that illusion in the minds of some of the enemies; and (2) Jesus was taken up to God (i.e.. God raised him up (raf'a) to Himself

5. Eschatology - Judgement will occur on Judgement Day (the end of the world when God will judge all human beings beginning from Adam and Eve). Persons who have been previously deceased, and are in their graves, are given an indication (via 'windows' in the grave) of what his or her future Judgement may be. The punishment of the grave will begin immediately. Rewards begin immediately too. (This intermediate stage of the grave may be regarded as similar to the Catholic Purgatory, and is called barzakh in Islam). The final abode of either Paradise or Hell will be pronounced on the Day of Judgement.

6. All mankind is born pure and he/she is responsible for his or her own sins and not someone else's

7. Muslims do not believe in vicarious atonement. They believe that each person is responsible for his or her own actions and that no-one else can atone for them. However, you can pray to God for His Mercy and Forgiveness on behalf of another person. The Prophet Muhammad, p.b.u.h. -- and some others (like innocent babies who have passed away) are given the special privilege to intercede on behalf of their parents on the Day of Judgement. This is in accord with the Throne Verse in the Qur'an. So with God's graceful permission, they may have a specially bestowed privilege of pleading on behalf of others and begging for God's forgiveness for them on the Day of Judgement. This is known as intercession (shafa't).

8. The holy Qur'an was revealed ('revelation' [wahi] is the highest form of inspiration with no possibility of error in the message or the conveyance of the message) to the Prophet Muhammad, p.b.u.h. through the angel Gabriel who was carrying out God's precise instructions. This occurred over a period of 23 years. The holy Qur'an is God's Word -- not the word of the Prophet Muhammad, p.b.u.h.

9. All the Prophets, from Adam a.s. to Muhammad p.b.u.h. are pure and sinless/infallible.

10.For Muslims, Prophets are spiritually advanced and are very pure and sinless. They have been sent by God to guide and teach mankind. There have been 127,000 of them from Adam, a.s. to Muhammad p.b.u.h. who was the last Prophet sent, meaning that no more Prophets will come after him. Hence Muhammad p.b.u.h. was called the "Seal of the Prophets." The Prophets were sent as Messengers of God to people in different countries at different times.

So there are some real facts about the Islamic and Christian faiths. So as you can see they are pretty similar. : /

War in Iraq.

Do you realize how much money is wasted each day we are in Iraq. 255 million dollars is wasted every single day we are in Iraq. Since we've been in this war we have wasted a quarter of a trillion dollars. Do you realize how many people are homeless in America? Approximately 2.5 - 3.5 million people in these United States are homeless. Do you realize how many Americans do not receive any form of Health care? 46 million Americans do not receive health care. Wouldn't it be much more worth it to take care of our own people before taking on the responsibility to "bring democracy" to Iraq? Imagine if we took a quarter of a trillion dollars and used it for our people? Imagine how many hungry stomachs that would fill. Imagine how many people wouldn't have to choose between eating or getting their medicine. Just imagine. Just sit and think of all the many better things that money could be used for. And why is it we are trying to demand democracy to take over in Iraq anyway? Even our own Allies have communistic views. Do you know haw many products that we have made over in China? China enjoyed a US $256.3 billion trade surplus with its American trade partner in 2007. China is a communist country. So why do we support their economy if we are against it? Why is it that we say that we are liberating the Iraqi people from communist rule and anti-humanitarianism and yet we turn the other cheek when we hear that Saudi Arabia our other ally is going to lash a woman in her 70's and imprison her just for a small thing as of a man bringing her loafs of bread to eat and a not having a male relative in the house when it happened? Why is it that women in Saudi Arabia would be risking their very lives if they were to just drive down the street in a car? And yet, we do absolutely nothing. Why is all this my friends? Because we are a greedy nation. We are quick to jump on the thought of "helping" people if we are to gain something. Strange isn't it on how Saudi Arabia is one of our main people to gain oil from and China we get manufactured goods for such low prices isn't it. Strange how there is oil in Iraq too, isn't it? Just a lot of strange things and unanswered questions.

Babies everywhere =o.o=

my Friend told me yesterday that he got someone pregnant recently. This makes like the fourth one of my friends to become parents in the ages of 15-16 =o.o=. Seriously teen pregnancy is on the rise again. And around here it's higher than other places. The reason? I think maybe it's because we have nothing better to do than either have sex or go to McDonalds. So half the people get pregnant because they're on diets. : / Maybe if there was something amusing to do around here we may be more preoccupied with it instead of having sex. Do I think that teen pregnancy will stop completely because of this? Of course not. Do I judge people for getting pregnant. Again of course not. What I'm saying is that maybe if we had more distractions the rate may go down. Around here if you're not into sports you have nothing to do. I'm thinking maybe should buy out the other half of the old Big Bear that's not being used and turn it into a teen hangout, or skating rink, or something. Just a thought. : /

bored.

Jared is writing a story for class. It's very . . . interesting . . .. it involves his shoes so far. =o.o= Speaking of shoes I tied his shoestrings into quad-loops. =^^= I'm pretty sure he noticed but he doesn't seem to care. : / Which is uber strange. XP I realize this class is quite strange. Richard walked away from his computer and Jared logged onto a porn site on his computer then ran away and now everyone is freaking out and wanting to see said porn site. =-.-'= Class full of guys so of course . . .

The AMAZING John Lennon.

He was truly an AMAZING man. He was very intelligent and was an avid believer in Peace, Love, and acceptance of oneself. We all could learn something from his example . . .

A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.
John Lennon

All we are saying is give peace a chance.
John Lennon

All you need is love.
John Lennon

As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.
John Lennon

Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue with that; I'm right and I will be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first - rock and roll or Christianity.
John Lennon

Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground.
John Lennon

Everything is clearer when you're in love.
John Lennon

God is a concept by which we measure our pain.
John Lennon

Guilt for being rich, and guilt thinking that perhaps love and peace isn't enough and you have to go and get shot or something.
John Lennon

I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?
John Lennon

I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong.
John Lennon

I don't believe in killing whatever the reason!
John Lennon

I don't know which will go first - rock 'n' roll or Christianity.
John Lennon

I'm not going to change the way I look or the way I feel to conform to anything. I've always been a freak. So I've been a freak all my life and I have to live with that, you know. I'm one of those people.
John Lennon

If being an egomaniac means I believe in what I do and in my art or music, then in that respect you can call me that... I believe in what I do, and I'll say it.
John Lennon

If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace.
John Lennon

If someone thinks that love and peace is a cliche that must have been left behind in the Sixties, that's his problem. Love and peace are eternal.
John Lennon

If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it 'Chuck Berry'.
John Lennon

Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.
John Lennon

It doesn't matter how long my hair is or what colour my skin is or whether I'm a woman or a man.
John Lennon

It was like being in the eye of a hurricane. You'd wake up in a concert and think, Wow, how did I get here?
John Lennon

Jesus was all right, but his disciples were thick and ordinary. It's them twisting it that ruins it for me.
John Lennon

Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.
John Lennon

Life is what happens while you are making other plans.
John Lennon

Love is the answer, and you know that for sure; Love is a flower, you've got to let it grow.
John Lennon

Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it.
John Lennon

My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.
John Lennon

Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.
John Lennon

Part of me suspects that I'm a loser, and the other part of me thinks I'm God Almighty.
John Lennon

Possession isn't nine-tenths of the law. It's nine-tenths of the problem.
John Lennon

Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.
John Lennon

Rituals are important. Nowadays it's hip not to be married. I'm not interested in being hip.
John Lennon

Surrealism had a great effect on me because then I realised that the imagery in my mind wasn't insanity. Surrealism to me is reality.
John Lennon

The basic thing nobody asks is why do people take drugs of any sort? Why do we have these accessories to normal living to live? I mean, is there something wrong with society that's making us so pressurized, that we cannot live without guarding ourselves against it?
John Lennon

The cross of the Legion of Honor has been conferred on me. However, few escape that distinction.
John Lennon

The more I see the less I know for sure.
John Lennon

The postman wants an autograph. The cab driver wants a picture. The waitress wants a handshake. Everyone wants a piece of you.
John Lennon

The thing the sixties did was to show us the possibilities and the responsibility that we all had. It wasn't the answer. It just gave us a glimpse of the possibility.
John Lennon

There's nothing you can know that isn't known.
John Lennon

Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted.
John Lennon

We were all on this ship in the sixties, our generation, a ship going to discover the New World. And the Beatles were in the crow's nest of that ship.
John Lennon

We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first, rock 'n' roll or Christianity.
John Lennon

We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it.
John Lennon

When you're drowning, you don't say 'I would be incredibly pleased if someone would have the foresight to notice me drowning and come and help me,' you just scream.
John Lennon

Will the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands? And the rest of you, if you'll just rattle your jewelry.
John Lennon

Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun.
John Lennon

You don't need anybody to tell you who you are or what you are. You are what you are!
John Lennon

You either get tired fighting for peace, or you die.
John Lennon

You have to be a bastard to make it, and that's a fact. And the Beatles are the biggest bastards on earth.
John Lennon

You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.
John Lennon

human emotion.

What is the big deal with emotion? Humans all posess them. Well suposedly they do at least. Is it actually possible to be totally free from emotion? Of course not. Even if you are in a blank mood it is STILL an emotion! One thing I particullarly love is when I am constantly told that I posess no expression of emotion whatsoever. People try constantly to try and make me smile. But I smile all the time? I don't comprehend it. Actually I do it's called, "You don't know me". I am a very hyper and happy person most of the time. It's just noone really gets to know me to actually see that. Yes I am quiet in class but that's because I am more interested in the people around me than just to be self-centered and focused on how loud I can be and how many people I can talk to. Why can't people want to just make me smile because I could be their friend. Instead people feel as like they should cheer me up because I'm a gothic little emo child. =-.-'=

Godhatesgoths.com

I was surfing the web a few weeks ago and happened upon a site called godhatesgoths.com. This site is absolutly horrible! It tells on why goths are the scum of the Earth and should be looked at as such. Not to mention that they also state that cerebral paulsy victims are lumped into the same catagory. The say that goths go to Hell, aborted feti go to hell, children to young to comprehend the bible got o Hell, People with mental retardation go to Hell, Jews go tot Hell, Hindus go to hell, and numorous others. What ever happened to Thou Shalt not Judge? Who are these people to say who would go to Heaven or not. I was watching the news last night and saw my Rabai on there. They were talking about how Christian beliefs are plummeting down in percentage and athieism is on the rise. Who can really blame them for not believing in God honestly. When constantly we are having people's religion shoved down our throat every day. Last time I checked I lived in America where we have the right to CHOOSE our religion. Why is it so hard just to accept other's beliefs? And if not acceptance then why not just ignore them? People will belief what the were taught growing up or what they think. There's really no changing it. So while forcing your beliefs on someone you are really just pushing them away. And while looking from their aspect of things, why would you want to trust someone when they say "this is wrong, that is wrong, you shouldn't do this, etc etc." and then see them do the things they were just condemning. I'm sorry if this sounds degrading and I know not all are like this, but a lot of Christians are the most hypocritical people in the world. So some of my thoughts from the day . . .

James and the Giant Peach.

Tomorrow auditions are being held for the play "James and the Giant Peach". Oh, boy . . .. I will audition for the glowworm part I think. I most likely will not get it, but I guess it doesn't hurt to try. One of my freshmen friends, Levi, wants to be the Centipede. Jasmine and I told him not to get his hopes up for the mere fact that he is a freshmen and most likely will not get the part. Plus the factor that he is not in a theater class. Levi ranted on and on about how it is unfair that people will get the part just because they are in the class, not really that they have the talent for it. Not to say that everyone in theater class does not have talent but as to say people not in the class may have it as well. Mrs. Lewis says they are open auditions but really it is all a load of bull. Open auditions only for the people in theater class would fit better. It isn't fair but then again nothing really is. Another note, you do not get to audition for the part you want. Everyone must read the same exact part. How are you suposed to show that you would be the best Earthworm when you are forced to audition with the Spider's lines. They are two far different characters so how can you judge who would be best for what?

Jasmine.

This blog is dedicated to my bestest pal Jasmine. She is very sarcastic and halarious. When we're together it's very hard to keep us from giggling. XD She's a very good writing and she's done poetry out loud a lot. She's a very good person at heart, but she can be very mean if she doesn't like you. =o.o= But stay on her good side and she's a fantabulous pal! =^^=

Stewy.

This blog is dedicated to my bestest pal Stewy. He is the best friend a person could ever have. He always cheers me up when I'm down and when talking to him I never frown lol. He's adorable and really smart. He also plays the bass. Chyeah I know you're thinking he's the coolest right? XD He is an AMAZING person and I'm very lucky to have him.

*sighs*

well safe to say my day hasn't been a very happy one. My Great-grandmother passed away this morning. I don't really feel like writing much now . . . so yeah . . . but I have 3 more blogs to write . . . and ugh. I don't know what to write . . .

yet another: again sucy : /

Open up my Eyes

Open up my eyes
So I can see
A deeper side of me
But why does the world have to be so blind
They demand a sign
They find you so confuessing at times
Always want to rewind
The man is flipping his dime
Waiting for his opportunity
But I won't let him get me
Fore you can truly see me
'Cause back in the day we found
Such a beautiful sound
But the ways of the world today
Seems as though it's been drown
Open up my eyes
So I can see
A deeper side of me

another poem: again sucky : /

Out of Time

Her soul was like a impure toll
She looked up at him and he spoke two words "not here"
She felt her soul taken from her body and then it regained its form
She looked around alarm, forlorn
She dreaded, fearing this from when she was born
Shackles on wrists and ankles
Tears stained her terrified face
And there he was a smirk with the biggest trace
"Thank you for coming" ,he said
Pain takes over and she will feel it forevermore
How she wished she hadn't closed the door
Forgive me God fore I have sinned
That's never to be heard again

a poem: by me : / yah itsucks: oh well

STARS

Life is what you make it
Love is Life well open
Break the outter shell
See the world that's opened
Good is hard to find
Evil everywhere
Will you help to turn the page
Or simply stop and stare
Love is life spread out
Tuching hearts well-over
But for sure we still have hate
For this luck we have no clover
Hate is like a rumour
More easilly it's spread
More easilly controlled
You're easilly misled
But who is left to care so much
As to show no fears
So lovely to show compassion
To shed some Loving tears
Humanity can be like Space
Dark, Cold, and Oblivious
Humanity for which you can see
Necessarily does not have to be
Because even Space has some warmth
The warmth only found in Stars

Auto Bailout.

The Auto bailout was the most insufficient move the government has made recently. The auto industries asked for a very large sum of money so that they would not go bankrupt. After receiving the money they still did not sell their cars to hardly anyone. And surprise they needed another bailout! And maybe we should just let their businesses fail. I absolutly love cars might I add and it would be distraughtful to not see any new models. However, maybe this is karma paid back to the crediters of society for their greed. But I digress. My mother had an interesting thought on the matter. The plan is that instead of giving a bailout to an auto industry that will most likely just fail again, give a voucher of the money that would have been given in the bailout to the citizens of America. With this voucher the people would in turn purchase new cars. With the purchase of new cars, this now gives money the auto industry so that they may continue their business. A cycle in play, I dare say! But again I digress, for the government is too worried about their money to actually think of ideas that may benefit this country as a whole.

College in the England!

Finally decided upon my destination! I'm England bound baby. =^^= I want to go to the University of North Umbria in Newcastle, England. It'll be AMAZING! I've always wanted to go to England ever since I was really small. I'm really excited. I'm going to study Graphic Design, Costume Design, and Journelism. And to top it all off I get to see and be with my bestest buddies in the world when I go. See, like I said it'll be AMAZING! =^^= In going there I will of course have to make some time to take a roadtrip to see the beloved Big Ben. Going to this college will scratch off quite a few goals from my list. =^^= So here's to change! So my friends, Bon Voyage! XD

Ridicule.

Why is it that we, the human race known as the most intellectual creatures on this earth, insist on going through such silly things. Why is it that we all can not comprehend the fact that saying hurtful things actually means something. Why is it that we hate people we barely even know? Or even maybe we don't hate them. Maybe it just makes us feel like we're bigger than them. Putting someone else down makes up for our own insecurities. As you can tell from some of my other blogs I spend a majority of my time just observing people. It's amazing how cruel people are to one another. I know that it is impossible to like everyone you know around you. But why must we lash out as so? And I often wonder, "Where is the voice spoken in defense for them?". I often hear mutilating words. But very rarely do I hear a startling proclaiming bravery of standing up for a fellow person. We all just sit back and watch, basically condoning everything said or done. Is it really this hard to get along? The most degrading thing to watch is the people that are in "Rachael' Challenge" act as so. When you take an oath to act a certain way, people do watch and see if you will commit. And when you don't, people are not surprized and their hope dies even more. If a high school can't even get along what hope is there for world peace? Maybe if we all thought before we spoke we wouldn't be as rude, disrespectful, or ridiculing. It's a small thing to do. But are you willing to accept a tiny challenge? Sadly not many would. but if just a few people did, it would be a start, and a start is more worthwhile then a step back.

random.

Saturday, in the park, it musta been the fourth of July! XD That song is stuck in my head! XP
Right now I'm in a pretty good mood. Not really sure why. I think it's because I think I might actually slide by with a D in Chemistry. Even if I get a D- I'd be happy. I soooo do not want to go back to Summer school. Total waste of great time. =T.T= Although I kind liked Summer school. The teacher I had for Algebra was really good. Her name is Mrs. Brewer. I think she came from Spring Valley actually. Really depressed me when she told me that. Because then I have to think, "Hmmm . . . well if you hadn't have left for my Freshmen year to go to the middle school I could have had you and woldn't have failed in the first place." And another thought, "If you come to the middle school a year ealier I would have had you sooner and may have known a lot more going into Freshmen year." Our teacher had a lot of nervous breakdowns . . . A LOT! So yeah, but I guess I'm over that because basically I can sit here and think about all the shoulda coulda wouldas and maybe ifs all I like but it still happened and there's nothing I can do to change that. So yeah. I'm reading a really good book. It's called "The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Gothgirl" by Barry Lyga. I figurd it would have been a corny book or something but it's really good! The main character reminds me a lot of myself actually. He's a comic book geek and everything! XD I'm going to another anime con soon, speaking of comic books. I can't wait! XD It's going to be in Cincinnati, Ohio. The A and G con. Oh my an anime con/ game con so amazing! XD Quick thought, wouldn't it be cool if our gaming class could go as a field trip! XD Not going to happen but hey it'd still be cool. XD Class is really boring today. I think it must be because Mr. Reed isn't here. it's always boring without him. =T.T= It's really eerily quiet. It scares me. =>.>=
You'd understand if you have met the class as of why. XD I'm starting to think that I'm the only one who actually really tries on my blogs. Then again not really starting to, I've thought that for quite a while now. I just think that things you write should come from your heart and soul not just something off the top of your head. That may sound wierd but oh well. My nose is itching like crazy! XP So anyway, today I really don't have anything meaningful to write. So it's kind of sad. *sigh* Ugh I wasn't here yesterday because my Grammie was having surgery. So I missed getting to order my T-shirts for my design. Which sucks like so major because I had a lot of people who wanted one, and it was chance for me to earn some extra dough for the anime con and the Disturbed concert. =T.T= Oh well that's life I guess.

Break.

My break was okay I supose. It was kind of boring and I didn't really do much, but it was okay. I didn't get to light my manorah, which depressed me sort of. But that's life. My nephews continue to be little monsters and break my things, but again that's life. My nephew Caleb got a Playstation for Christmas and has been playing it ever since. I kind of miss the days when I could sit and watch television whenever I felt random enough to do so. I got him a football game off of Amazon for a penny. Score for the Jew! XD So yeah . . . I got tired of watching them play Dragon Ball Z. They played it for like 4 freaking days straight! XP But now it's nothing but football to watch. Which again is getting old. XP I got some peppermint lip gloss for Christmas. It smells good. XD That's about it for now . . . So Yeah . . . End Log. XD Oh! I forgot to mention, I saw Valkyrie over the break. Strongly recamend it. It's AMAZING!!! XD

Random.

Bleh I have a migraine. Oh well, what else is new? XD I'm making a shirt in Graphic Design class. I like it, I think it's pretty interesting. I have a bunch of random things strewn about and at the botom it says "We're all mad here". Pretty fun. . . On the back it's going to say, "Be who you are and say how you feel because those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind. My hands are stained blue from washing the screen for the T-shirt printer. XP Mrs. Alexander said it should go away in a few days. XP
